Lobby Hours

Monday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM 

Safety

• Please bring your pet in on a non-retractable leash.
• Please discourage your pet from interacting with other pets in the lobby.

Reservations & Cancellations

• Reservations are required for all lodging guests and can be made via our website or phone during lobby hours.
• Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your pet’s stay. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a charge of up to the full appointment fee.
• For peak/holiday periods, cancellations must be made at least one week in advance to avoid fees.
• If you do not cancel within the required timeframe, you will be charged 25% of the estimated stay or forfeit your deposit.

Peak/Holiday Periods

Peak periods require a 3-night minimum stay and a 50% deposit. Peak periods include:

• The week of New Year's
• Memorial Day Weekend
• The week of July 4th
• Labor Day Weekend
• Thanksgiving Weekend (Thursday - Sunday)
• Spring Break
• The week of Christmas

Vaccination Requirements

All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations, and records must be uploaded to the customer portal before the stay.

• Rabies
• DHLPP  (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo)
• Bordetella: Every 12 months (injectable at least 72 hours before arrival, nasal/oral at least 2 weeks before arrival)

Pets must not have been exposed to contagious diseases within 30 days of arrival. Any pet showing signs of illness (diarrhea, vomiting, coughing, sneezing) will not be admitted.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: Anytime during lobby hours.
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM
• Pick-ups after 11:00 AM will be charged an additional full-night boarding fee.

Health & Safety Guidelines

• Pets must be free of fleas and ticks. If found, the pet will receive a flea treatment at the owner's expense.
• All guests must be free of communicable diseases and in good health with no visible stitches, open wounds, or contagious conditions.
• Geriatric and special needs pets (including those over 10 years old) require a signed Rainbow Policy outlining care preferences.
• Poulsbo Pet Club is not liable for any illnesses contracted during a stay, including airborne illnesses like canine cough.
• All guests must be free of communicable diseases and have no visible stitches or open wounds.
• Owners must certify that their pets are in good health and have not been sick in the last 30 days.
• Guests who have been ill with a communicable condition within the previous 30 days will require a veterinarian's certification of health to be admitted or readmitted to the resort.

Personal Belongings & Feeding

• Food: Meals must be pre-measured and bagged with the pet’s name clearly labeled.
• Medications: Must be provided in the original prescription container, including the dosage and schedule.
• Bedding & Toys: Poulsbo Pet Club provides bedding and bowls. You may bring a t-shirt for comfort, but please refrain from bringing valuable or irreplaceable items.
• Special treats and activity upgrades (e.g., nature walks, cuddle time, nutritional Kongs, and spa services) are available for an additional fee.

Daycare & Day Stay

• All dogs must complete an evaluation before participating in daycare.
• Dogs must be at least 4 months old.
• At 6 months, puppies must be neutered to remain in daycare.
• Day Stay: Includes individual potty walks and one-on-one playtimes.

Continuing Care & Emergency Procedures

• Poulsbo Pet Club reserves the right to refuse any pet that appears to be sick, aggressive, or that could jeopardize the safety of others.
• The owner will be contacted if a pet falls ill during its stay. If the owner is unreachable, Poulsbo Pet Club will seek veterinary care at the owner's expense.
